From our experience, the level of service, dedication and personal commitment from Jay and members from Flascon team was beyond exceptional. There were many times pre-contract and during the build where we were confused and Jay, Courtney or Ross would always be ready to give an honest opinion on what they thought was best for us. We’ve been in the past with other builders (especially large project builders), where our job is just another project number and all they care about is making sure what’s written is delivered to a reasonable standard. But with Jay and the Flascon team it’s genuinely about you and not getting some reason or recommendation that makes their job easier or some other benefit to the builder. Even after the contract was signed, any changes that we wanted to make (most were because we hadn’t thought of it beforehand) were accommodated and charged at an honest fair price without all sorts of admin fees that some builders charge to either deter you from making changes or taking the chance to rip you off once you’re locked in.
A small example I’ll share, quite sometime after we had finalised our selections, we had forgotten to advise that some places we wanted black tap wear and only remembered during a walk through to decide on the exact locations of where things should be installed. Despite our selections being finalised and delivered, Courtney and Ross went out the their way to change it so that we got what we wanted. There are many other examples I can share where Jay and his team went out to of their way to accommodate our requests, which is why we’ve confidently referred Jay and Flascon to our family and friends who are wanting to build.
To summarise, I can honestly say that Jay is a man of principles and his personal values clearly reflects through the company, his team members at Flascon and other parties that you’ll have to deal with (e.g. electrician, cabinet maker). Deciding to go ahead with Flascon was honestly the best decision we made and we’re very happy that we entrusted Jay to make our dream home into a reality!
